VibeChhat ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when using the VibeChhat app and website.

1) Information We Collect

• Account information such as name, email address, and user ID.
• Profile details you provide (for example gender and optional bio).
• App usage and communication metadata needed to deliver core features.
• Referral and invite information you share through VibeChhat links.

2) Authentication and Sign-In

We use Firebase Authentication to sign in users securely. Authentication providers (such as email/phone/Google sign-in) process credentials according to their own security standards. We do not store plain text passwords in our own app database.

3) How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account.
• To enable chat, friend discovery, referrals, and calling features.
• To maintain service security and prevent abuse.
• To improve app reliability and user experience.

4) Firestore Data Security

VibeChhat uses Google Firebase Firestore and related Firebase services. Access to stored data is controlled through Firebase Security Rules and authenticated access checks. Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

While we apply reasonable safeguards, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We continuously improve protections for user data.

5) Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers required to run VibeChhat (for example Firebase infrastructure), and only as needed for app functionality, security, or legal compliance.

6) Account Deletion and User Choices

You can request account deletion at any time. To request deletion, contact us from inside the app support channel or by email at support@vibechhat.app.

Once deletion is processed, your account and associated profile data are removed or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to legal or abuse prevention obligations.

7) Children's Privacy

VibeChhat is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law in your region. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8) Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
